Description
VIA Lab’s VL631 / VL632 is an USB 2.0 FS Audio Codec for quality USB audio consumer applications. It conforms to the USB 2.0 Specification and supports Full-Speed mode. VL631 / VL632 supports USB Audio Class 1.0, and hence can enable driverless product. Featuring with I2C, and GPIO interfaces, VL631 / VL632 stereo I/O supports most popular digital audio sampling resolutions. VL631 / VL632 has one internal oscillator to generate all necessary clock frequencies for internal clock operation. VL631 / VL632 also integrates the 5V-to-3.3V, 5V-to-2.6V 5V-to-1.8V regulator; together with one internal programmable FLASH, it provides customer with extremely cost-competitive BOM solution.
The programmable High-Pass Filter works for low frequency noise suppression. The parametric EQ with fully programmable coefficients is integrated to optimize audio output characteristics. The digital signal processing technology in VL631 / VL632 allows it to deliver better sound quality and enriched audio features without extra driver/software efforts and installation. The 24-bit high signal-to-noise-ratio audio codec is designed to convert digital signal to enhanced analog sound with maximum clarity for the USB audio applications.
